Borderlands Collection: Pandora’s Box Gets Rated For Switch In Germany

Nintendo Switch could be getting another major addition to its vast array of roster after such a triumphant lifespan. Borderlands Collection: Pandora’s Box has recently been rated for the little giant in Germany, suggesting that more Borderlands content is heading towards the Switch. The German Software Ratings Board has rated the collection with an 18+ rating since all of its games contain “powerful depictions of violence.” 

The Borderlands Collection retains all six entries from the original series. In other words, you will be getting a stellar bargain for the original Borderlands, the sequel Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, the 2019 release Borderlands 3, and New Tales from the Borderlands. The bundle will also feature all of the add-ons that other titles have retained throughout their releases, including all the DLCs and the like.

The collection is hailed as the best way to venture into the iconic series instead of paying per every single entry. The series has redefined the looter-shooter genre with its exaggerated firefights, engaging lore, a gargantuan variety of arsenals, and compelling hardcore missions designed both for solo and co-op play. Now, after the recent release of Borderlands 3 on the Switch, we may soon get the whole collection on it in the near future.

It is worth noting that the rating does not necessarily suggest that a release on the portable is imminent. Nintendo nor 2K has currently officially confirmed that the Borderlands collection is arriving for the Switch. Additionally, the rating classification date is stated to be August 30, which is a day before the collection was released for the other consoles and PCs. We suggest taking the enticing development with a grain of salt.
