Crimson Desert has also become a target of leaks after causing a lot of buzz at Gamescom. The YouTuber 인벤 has uploaded the new 20-minute demo gameplay that they sneakily recorded. It showcases fantastic combat mechanics and boss battles, alongside high-quality seamless cutscenes and little sprinkles of exploration. And as apparent by the optimistic comments, many viewers have been left impressed with the RPG.

The YouTuber mentions that the degraded recording—compared to official gameplay—is because they used a device to capture the RPG during the on-site demo experience. So, the worse quality shown in the leaked footage does not represent how the game will play. We can expect the final release to look miles better than what we’ve been fed here in the 20-minute leak.

Despite a generally positive reception, a few are still unsatisfied with Crimson Desert for several reasons. If I were to nitpick, there’s still a bit of jank in the gameplay. However, many things could change and improve in the final release when it rolls around, which is expected to be in Q2 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
