Cyberpunk 2077 Alternate Cover Leaked On Twitter

Next-Gen patch 1.5 might be on the way.

Cyberpunk 2077‘s launch is feasibly the most destructive release a video game has gone through. Loads of hype and expectations surrounded the title, and the result was a buggy mess. The game came with bugs and game-breaking glitches that hindered the user experience.

The fanbase trusted the developers; Witcher 3 was a huge success after all. It’s hard not to be familiar with Cyberpunk 2077 as a gamer. Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt RED, released on December 10, 2020.

Time has repeatedly shown that games can bounce out of failures; No Man’s Sky is a well-known example. Release of that title suffered somewhat of a similar fate, yet the developers redeemed themselves. CD Projekt RED has not given up either, and they are squashing all the bugs with patches, improving and fixing everything.

Alternate Cover Leaked On Twitter

Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 alternate cover was leaked by a data miner, signaling that the release for the next-gen patch is not distant. According to the Twitter user who posted this, it should drop in February to early March. The cover itself originates from the PlayStation Store database. However, take this with a grain of salt.

The next-gen version would utilize the additional power of PS5 to run more smoothly. The last update that came out for Cyberpunk 2077 (1.31) was released back on September 14, 2021. We haven’t heard anything from CD Projekt RED in a while, so something is brewing. Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 are hoping that they finally get the promised AAA experience. Some players are concerned about how (or if) features like haptic feedback will be implemented, but only time will answer.

One aspect that resulted in amass of disappointment was over-hyping the game. CDPR had a lot of pressure from fans and investors to release the game in such a broken state. Upcoming patches are expected to polish and complete the game further. CDPR has produced well-received titles in the past. We can expect them to adapt to this mishap to some extent and reclaim their glory.

What To Expect In Patch 1.5

Rumors are circulating regarding what this patch will bring to the table. There could be a lot of additional content that could be added. Some have speculated that they are planning to do a soft launch. Hopefully, the patch will bring forth a lot of bug fixes and fixes to AI. More content is always welcomed, but a bug-ridden game is better with fixes than crammed content.

There are more leaks by @Onion00048 regarding Cyberpunk 2077; however, they should be taken with a pinch of salt. CDPR has kept the details about the update behind a veil. Perhaps it could be a surprise. Cyberpunk 2077 may finally feel like it was portrayed in the past decennium.

Overall, the game is undoubtedly moving in the right direction in light of the situation. CDPR recognized its shortcomings. Developers have done their best to adapt and evolve Cyberpunk 2077 to meet the standard of gamers. On the other hand, players also learned not to over-hype a title. From the rumors, the patch is shaping up to be worth the wait. Are you willing to give Cyberpunk 2077 another shot in the next-gen?
