The number may seem unfathomable for most games in the industry. However, despite having a fair share of controversies over the years, Diablo games have always managed to pull audiences residing in the millions, at the very least. So, the feat is not that surprising and was a long way coming.
That’s an impressive milestone for the Diablo series! Over 100 million players joining the fight against Hell is a testament to the game’s enduring appeal and the dedication of its community. Sanctuary indeed thanks everyone who has contributed to this epic journey,” said a player congratulating the studio.
The Diablo Franchise Is An Intense Saga Of Highs And Lows
Despite the feelings of festivities in the community, it’s worth discussing that not every entry in the series has enjoyed a critical reception. Diablo Immortal’s launch was met with much criticism since it targeted mobile devices. Additionally, the insane levels of MTX were also a cause for concern for many players. The last iteration, on the other hand, appears to have rectified many of the issues players faced in the franchise over the years.
