Fall Guys Players Increase On Steam Despite Removal

The tense party-royale is making a comeback.

If you have ever wanted to compete in an amalgamation of conjoined puzzles as jelly beans in silly costumes, this game is right up your alley. Getting less specific, Fall Guys features 60 players in a battle-royale-like competition with obstacles that players have to go through to proceed to the following stages.

Fall Guys takes its twist on the hardcore battle royale genre, turning it into a colorful hue of rainbows while keeping up the intensity of competition among other players. It is hard to indulge in the glitters of the game for long when beans deceiving to hug you end up throwing you off the map.

The joyous yet controller-breaking game is full of content and exciting outcomes. Fall Guys boomed during the launch, but the sus title Among Us, stole the spotlight, outshining most games by a mile, making Fall Guys fizzle out for a while. The title finally appears to be on the rise after developers brought forth exciting updates.

Fall Guys concurrent players have been on the rise on average following the latest update that made the title free-to-play. Moreover, the game had been on a stagnant concurrency after having dry sprouts, so the numbers of beans rising in Fall Guys is jolly news.

The developers of Fall Guys have also recently pulled the game from Steam in a surprising turn of events. The game is now available on the Epic Games Store to be downloaded, yet the player count appears to rise as the stats reveal on the Steam tracker website, SteamDB.

Fall Guys, concurrent players are rising despite game removal on Steam.

The stats on SteamDB give us a good insight regarding the average rise of players on Steam. The players already owning the game will get to enjoy all the latest updates and perks they could in the past. Though for future players, the game can be played for free on Epic Games only.

At the time of writing, Fall Guys concurrent players have peaked around 51,000 beans fighting for the crown. The massive spike of 59,920 players happened on June 21 after a long span of stagnant player count. The all-time peak for the alluring title is 172,213, which is unlikely to reach as the heydays are over.

A major reason behind this massive rise in concurrency is Mediatonic’s decision to make the game free-to-play. The latest updates have also boosted the Twitch viewership to the moon like the olden days of Fall Guys’ initial release days. Significant jumps in Twitch viewership can also be noticed at different times.

Fall Guys appear to be heading for a stretch of prosperity after struggles to keep up the player base for a long time. The game is one of a kind, inspiring a bundle of clones on Google PlayStore and PC alike. However, the original title is prized in the gaming community for providing hours-load content of streamers breaking their controllers, oh and for fantastic gameplay.
