- Sources at The Verge have said that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle might launch on PlayStation 5.
- Bethesda is considering releasing the action game on PS5 a few months after its launch on Xbox.
- This is a part of Microsoft’s new strategy to bring exclusive Xbox games to other consoles.
As per The Verge, sources close to Microsoft say that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could be launching on the PlayStation 5 after all. Bethesda is considering the possibility of the MachineGames title being multi-platform as part of Microsoft’s new approach to exclusive titles. Hence, the upcoming first-person adventure game might make its way to PS5 as part of this wave.
According to the source, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will first launch on Xbox consoles and PC as planned, but this console exclusivity won’t last for long. The game will come out on the PlayStation 5 a few months after its intial release, if Bethesda goes ahead and makes it multi-platform.
Keep in mind, that Microsoft’s plan to bring Xbox exclusives to other platforms isn’t finalized or even official as of yet. Therefore, the status of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can change in addition to other games like Hi-Fi Rush and Starfield.
But, considering how the MachineGames title was originally set to release on PS5, it could very well launch on the console. We got our first look at Indiana Jones and the Great Circle last month and as of right now, it is officially going to come out on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC sometime in 2024, with the article also hinting at a December target.
