It all began with the appearance of a video of Nadji Jeter, the voice actor of the main protagonist of the game, Miles Morales. In the video addressed to the fans, he appeared to be saying something along these lines, “We’re gonna end the year right with y’all.” It left the Spider-man series fandom in a frenzy.

The next one to build their hopes up was the Community Director of Insomniac Games, James Stevenson. He tweeted a gif of Peter Parker and Miles Morales from Spider-Man 2’s trailer. Even though he did not state anything, it was quite obvious to the fans that something big is imminent.

To top it all off, Spider-Man 2 briefly appeared available to wishlist on PlayStation Store UK. It was discovered by a Twitter user. This was even promoted by James Stevenson in a tweet. It was later on removed for unknown reasons.

This silent teasing of Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games has made the game a major talking point on the internet. Many are speculating that the game will be released in December. Some are even saying the game will be released a day before the new year.
A few are still skeptical about the game’s release before next year. But the more hardcore fans have no doubts. To them, these developments all but confirm the game’s imminent release by the end of the year.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game was announced back on September 2021 along with another game, Marvel’s Wolverine. Marvel’s Wolverine is a stand-alone title set in the same universe as the main series.
