New Details Come Into Light for Project 007 After Recent Job Posting

The name is Bond

IO Interactive is the developing head behind the masterful work of the Hitman series, and now they seem to be working on a James Bond game titled “Project 007.” A teaser trailer for the upcoming action shooter made landfall last year on YouTube. Almost 8 years have passed since the last Bond came out, and fans are thrilled to see a competent developer spearheading Project 007.

According to a recent job listing for an AI Programmer on the official Project 007 website, it appears that some crucial information regarding the game has been given out. Under the “We would love it if you had” section, one bullet point states, “Experience working with 3rd person action games.”

The rest of the posting indicates adventure elements along with stealth-oriented gameplay incorporated in the upcoming Bond game. It being set in the third-person perspective is making many people compare the project to the acclaimed Hitman series, which is nothing to sleep over if the game is going to be carefully put together.

One adequately thrilling aspect is that the game will feature a James Bond origin story, which is a first for both video games and motion picture cinema. How Project 007 is going to pull that off is kept entirely in the dark, but the fact that someone like IO Interactive is behind the steering wheel, we cannot wager on anything disappointing.
