The first update for Phasophobia is none other than v0.9, which is expected to be released after the holiday season this month. It will finally bring a new shop interface into the game to make it easier for players to use it. The current interface is shoddy and hard to utilize to the fullest. Items tiers will be adjusted. A lighting overhaul and eye adaption are also included. Also expected are Screen Space GI and performance rate improvements.

The 0.10 patch will add new tasks and optional objectives to the game. Additionally, a change in rewards is also expected. New equipment, including the sound recorder, will also be added. Lastly, expect photo overhaul and video evidence as part of this patch. The subsequent 0.11 patch will entirely focus on overhauls like new player models and animations, CCTV overhaul, and player customization.

Lastly, the 1.0 full-release Phasmophobia update will bring new ghost models, hunt and events overhaul, hallucinations, new interactions, and much more. It will bring the paranormal ghosthunting horror out of early access after many months of success. Kinetic Games has mentioned that a full launch is planned only after the aforementioned updates and features are released.

It remained the best-selling title on Steam for the following months since its launch. A console release is also predicted for this year, but the devs have explicitly stated that any release date or window has been removed. Phasmophobia will get a console release once it is ready.
