Yakuza 0, Kiwami, And Kiwami 2 Are Back On Xbox Game Pass

Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are now accessible for subscribers of the Xbox Game Pass, once again.

Every media-based industry on the planet has been slowly moving to the subscription service niche. We saw how Netflix changed the world of television and movies, and an entire industry. Gaming has had a similar rise in subscription-based services over the last decade or so.

Probably the two most popular services are the PlayStation Plus and the Xbox Game Pass. The latter has been a catalyst for change in the gaming industry due to the wide range of titles it offers. Its influence has been amazing and PlayStation even changed its strategy to compete with it.

Obviously, on a subscription-based service like this, changes are expected and games leave regularly. Players were unhappy when some of the Yakuza games left the Xbox Game Pass. However, we now have some good news for players of the titles who own the Xbox Game Pass.

Yakuza titles, which previously left the Xbox Game Pass, have been re-added to the subscription-based service’s list of titles. Games from the series which have come back on the platform include Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2. Hence, they are now available for everyone to play on the Xbox Game Pass and you can see them on the website again.

It’s really nice to see the Yakuza Kiwami games come to the Xbox Game Pass once again, as the series is a fan favorite. The series was originally released on PlayStation and the Nintendo Wii, but Xbox didn’t get the first few games. Yakuza Kiwami changed all that, as it was a remake of the original game and was available on Xbox consoles.

Many players even bought the games so they could own them after they went off the Xbox Game Pass. They are most probably regretting their decision now but it shows you how much players love the series. Yakuza Kiwami 2 continued this trend and was a remake of the second game and was available on Xbox consoles.

Lastly, Yakuza 0 was a prequel to the original game and also launched on the Xbox One, making almost the whole series available on the platform. If you have played any of the Yakuza games, you would know why the franchise is so popular. Combat and action are, perhaps, the best aspects of these games, and the story never lets you down either.

All of the games take place in Japan and tell amazing stories about the Japanese mafia, the Yakuza. So, if you like murder, assassination, rival gangs, and people trying to kill each other, this is the game for you. With its brilliant gameplay to enjoy, you will never get bored and learn why it has sold over 17 million copies worldwide.
