Heading over to its product page on the official Bandai Namco website, the major details surrounding the DLC have been revealed, thankfully. For starters, it’s releasing for all the platforms that the base game is available on June 21, 2024. Additionally, it’s priced at a solid $40, but I’m pretty sure you won’t see anyone complaining about that, considering the sheer quality on display here.

In Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, players step into the Land of Shadow to explore a new adventure full of mysteries and danger, to confront threatening bosses with new weapons and armor. Follow in the footsteps of Miquella and unravel the dark side of the Elden Ring story,” the developer describes.

And for those who don’t own the base Elden Ring title yet, Bandai is putting out special editions of the game that include the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Here’s one such example, and as part of your pre-order bonus, you get an in-game gesture, which the developer, however, does say can be unlocked later in the DLC by playing as well.
