PlayStation Now titles from PS4 and PS2 can now be Downloaded

Coming out back in 2015, PlayStation now was Sony’s answer to Xbox’s backwards compatibility. Giving the service of being able to play not only PS4 titles but also those from the famous PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 allowed for players to have a new generation console with the same innocence of that which they enjoyed growing up. Previously though, the service was solely based upon streaming these titles, which naturally demanded fast internet speeds and higher bandwidths which everyone simply could not afford.

Now though, PlayStation has tweaked its service to allow for users to download the 500 plus titles available in the library, through the service. This would allow them to play them offline, but they will have to go online once in a while to confirm their membership in the service and continue the services. Although this may seem like a good news, PlayStation 3 games have not been included into the list of games that will be allowed to download.

Currently, the service runs new users $99.99 per year while PlayStation Plus users are charged $29.99 for a three-month membership to PlayStation Now.
