It’s been more than 8 years since the latest iteration in the Grand Theft Auto series made its way onto mainstream platforms. As onerous as games usually get in that time frame, GTA 5 still manages to grip in players and offer them a wide variety of experiences, mostly due to its multiplayer capabilities.
Now that we have the arrival of next-gen consoles, the time is nigh for a new GTA title. A project of this level is undoubtedly large-scale, but the potential of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X is more than enough to handle something truly next-level. Fans have been thirsting over some official news regarding GTA 6, but it seems that we can do nothing except wait for now.
However, a ray of hope protrudes out as Rockstar posts a “Game Tester” job opening for Rockstar North, Lincoln, and India each. Applying candidates are expected to find and report bugs, glitches, or other similar hiccups in the game and dole out a detailed analysis report.
Not to get excited or anything, but this could well enough mean that Rockstar has a game almost finished in the studio, and is nearing the completion phase. Game testers are typically hired when a title is nearing its release and taking into consideration other job listings as of late, it seems that things are starting to match up.
A Cinematic Gameplay Capture Artist was required not long ago to shoot in-game footage and make stunning videos. Taking everything with a grain of salt, it’s simply a matter of time before GTA 6 gets publicly announced.
