Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League: Characters We Want

The character roster for the Suicide Squad has a lot of potential and here are some of the characters we'd like to see in there!

The epic villain team-up from Rocksteady has everyone on the edge of their seats. So far, developers have confirmed King Shark, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Captain Boomerang as the playable characters in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. We know that these characters will be taking on members of the Justice League in separate boss fights, but there’s a slight chance that then we’ll see a final Justice league vs. Task Force X showdown as well.

And so, if that happens, we’re going to need more anti-heroes to back up the main four. Fortunately, fans have just the characters in mind who’ll be up for the job. Here are five characters that players want in the upcoming adventure game!

1. Bloodsport

How are you going to have the best of villains of all time go up against Alpha target: Superman, and not include the only man who would give the Kryptonian a run for his money? Or do we want a laughable Superman and Harley Quin face as we did in Injustice 2?

Bloodsport is a must-have character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League! He’s got the brains. He’s got the muscle. And most of all, he’s got the Kryptonian bullets!

Bloodsport is a real fan favorite who deserves to be a part of the Suicide Squad. Although we’d all actually prefer to play as him, he doesn’t even have to be playable. Just keep him in the game, and that should be enough to keep fans happy.

Bloodsport might be a ruthless killer, but Agent 47 also has some great killing techniques up his sleeves.

2. Jason Todd/Red Hood

Another way to make things really interesting would be to introduce Jason Todd, otherwise known as the Red Hood. Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League is set in the Arkham-verse, so introducing the masked vigilante is not too out of the question.

We already saw Jason take on Roman Sionis, aka Black Mask, with some impressive painful efficiency in the Red Hood expansion for Arkham Knight. And he already has teamed up with the Suicide Squad in the comics, so it’s not something too out of the question.

Besides, not many were happy with his character in the Arkham franchise, so it seems like the right chance to redeem Red Hood. He’d fit right in the game as the gameplay centers around melee and shooting. The prospect of him going up against a Brainiac-controlled Batman is also pretty intriguing. We won’t lie!

Did you know that you can actually play one of the Arkham games on the Mac? Batman Arkham Knight runs perfectly on the Mac alongside all these other games; check them out here: Top 35 BEST Steam Games For Mac!

3. Peacemaker

James Gunn did a marvelous job with Suicide Squad, and he did even a better job bringing Peace Maker to life on the big screen. No wonder HBO offered John Cena to put on that helmet again for a TV series.

With that said, his character is more popular than ever, and it would be nice to ride on that popularity and include Peacemaker in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The anti-hero is an expert marksman who’s trained to bring peace to the world.

If Rocksteady decides to make the character playable, maybe we could get to try on Peacemaker’s different helmets like the X-ray helmet or the night vision helmet. Of course, they could add in Eagly as well, the vigilante’s trusted, bald eagle sidekick.

If you love comic book games in general and are willing to put aside the Marvel vs DC debate, then we have a great game suggestion for you. Check it out here: Midnight Suns: Everything We Know So Far.

4. Black Manta

A lot of fans are rallying for Rocksteady to include Black Manta in the game. And it makes a lot of sense. Who would want to pass up on the chance to go around shooting laser beams and missiles at enemies?

Let’s not forget his exceptional hand-to-hand combat skills that could make for some interesting gameplay mechanics. The knives as well. And then he also has the trident in his arsenal. There’s the jetpack as well.

It’s like his skill set is tailor-made for Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. And while we adore King Shark, going up against Aquaman and his other water friends would be a whole lot of fun with Black Manta on board.

5. Deathstroke

If Rocksteady decides to pass up on this, it’ll be the single biggest mistake of their career as he has the most potential to be one of the best villains in a video game. The Arkham interpretation of Deathstroke was well done and so bringing him into Suicide Squad would be the best move.

We don’t want something similar to the disappointing boss battle at the end of Batman: Arkham Origins. But if you finished the game, the end credit scene had Amanda Waller visit him so that Suicide Squad can pick up from there.

And also, we were promised a Suicide Squad game with Deathstroke that was going to pick up after Arkham Origins, but that got canceled, and so someone has to pay up. Seems like the responsibility to do that falls with Suicide Squad. The chance to have Deathstroke face off against a Brainiac-controlled Batman is simply too good an opportunity to pass up.

It’d be a dream come true if he’s a playable character with the same combat style as Batman but with swords and guns. Even if they don’t plan to make him playable, they can just stick to making him an AI ally and assist the main four in their fights.

With that, we wrap up the list of characters fans want in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League! It’s a shame that the game has been delayed till 2023 but at least the developers will have enough time to polish it as much as they can before release!
