The Division 2’s Title Update 15 Marks The Beginning Of Season 9

The new season is called "Hidden Alliance" and will begin after this update.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is still going strong even though it’s been 3 years since its release. With a dedicated online player base to boast, the game gets a lot of new content. Regular updates have made it a huge success for Ubisoft and players continue to buy the online-only action role-playing video game. The game has sold over 10 million copies in May 2020, so it has performed really well. Seeing how it gets new seasons and brand new content regularly, these numbers aren’t surprising. Recently, the new Title Update 15 provides us with information about the game’s future.

Season 9 of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will begin after the upcoming Title Update 15 from Ubisoft. This new season of the game will be called “Hidden Alliance,” according to the patch notes for the recent update. Season 9 will pick up right after the confrontation with Faye Lau at Camp White Oak. Players will face the consequences of this meeting at the start of this new season. The narrative mode of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 continues and players will have to hunt Captain Lewis and four new targets in a new manhunt.

In addition, a new progression system is also coming to the game. The new system is called “Expertise” and will allow players to bring their weapons to maximum performance. Expertise Level and Proficiency Rank are the two main parts of this system. Players can increase both by using donations or Kill XP in the game. So, the better you get with a weapon, the higher will be your expertise with it.

Another addition to Season 9 of the game is a brand new game mode. “Countdown” is a new 8-player PvE game mode that is coming to Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Players have to prevent a lockdown in a power plant, so they have to race against time in this timed game mode to stabilize the power plant. New gear is available, so this is going to be very amusing for many players.

The Season Pass is obviously available for $10 this time around, too. Events like the Fairview Apparel Event are also coming to the game and will bring nearly 27 items to the store, so players have to be ready on May 24 for this exciting event. You can download the recent Title Update 15 for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 right now and start enjoying these new features in the game.
