Valorant Streamer Secures Immortal Rank With Only A Pistol In His Arsenal

Who said it was impossible?

The unimaginable has been done, with a pistol nonetheless. A Valorant player climbed the podium to dominate the second-highest rank in the game’s history, all while using a pistol. How did he do such a feat? That is the question that we have all been pondering.

MAJOR TAKEAWAYS:

  • Gamer royalG spent 136 hours/ 51 days playing Valorant while only using a pistol.
  • Twitter user Jake Lucky first brought the incredible feat to our attention.
  • royalG has essentially become Valorant’s first player to achieve an Immortal rank while utilizing a pistol as the only arsenal.

This feat was first brought to our attention by a tweet made by Jake Lucky. The tweet showed a video of royalG just moments before he received his award.

In a matter of days, 51 to be exact, royalG went from a relatively small creator to a Valorant legend. On his own Twitter account, he made a heartfelt tweet commemorating the occasion of achieving the Immortal tier. Which is the second-highest tier that players can achieve.

For royalG, those 136 hours on Classic were undoubtedly well spent. For him and his fans, Christmas has definitely come early.

Valorant fans around the world are utterly flabbergasted about how on earth was royalG able to play such a competitive shooting game with only a pistol. Well, there seems to be a method to his madness.

Many of his hardcore fans pointed out that he avoided several things that can be a player’s demise. However, the most important one was that he avoided peaking. Moreover, he patiently waited and analyzed to get the best shot.

On the other hand, some fans have deemed him to be the single best person to partner up with, and we can certainly see why they would want that.

Many are excited to know what’s next for him. Will he try his hand at getting to the highly exclusive Radiant tier? Well, the verdict seems mixed; while it is technically not impossible, the chances of that are few and far between.

This is mainly because only 500 players around the globe get to be in that tier, so as you can imagine, the competition is steep. Would royalG be able to get to that Valorant tier with only a pistol?

Valorant is a free-to-play first-person tactical hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows. Teased under the codename Project A in October 2019, the game began a closed beta period with limited access on April 7, 2020, followed by a release on June 2, 2020. The game is available on PC.
