Infinity Ward has released a minor new patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. This update came out lately on all platforms worldwide. It is a part of the game’s Reloaded season 2, which brought a new multiplayer map, Atomgrad Raid episode 2, and more event camo challenges. Infinity Ward has also released patch notes for this minor update, giving us a more in-depth look at the changes.
First, general changes include fixes related to the stability of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. This patch has fixed a number of known crashes in the FPS title. A major change has come to Ranked mode and will make the point-of-view of eliminated players who don’t spectate black. Moving on to bug fixes, this patch has fixed an issue that was preventing Camo Mission Completion splashes from triggering upon completion.
Unintended idle operator audio will also not play in the pre-game lobby from now on. This update has also overhauled a bug that was preventing the kill cam from triggering. Furthermore, an issue that caused a player’s COD Point to show an inaccurate value on some tabs has been rectified. Incorrect weapons icons will also not bother players from now on, as this bug is a thing of the past.
Additionally, developers have fixed an issue displaying unavailable Operators in the Operator Challenges menu. Previewing a weapon in the Showcase can also cause a black screen from now on. Moreover, this update has fixed an exploit allowing players to leave the map on Ashika Island in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. From now on, you won’t get stuck in the menu due to incorrect notifications, as this bug has been rectified.
Developers have also put the issue impacting challenge progress for Mortar Strikes to rest. In some instances, the menu has been closing down without any reason in the FPS title. But this update has fixed this bug, and the menu will not close unexpectedly from now on. In addition, the update has also fixed an exploit in Raid Episode 02 that allowed players to bypass a section.
Incorrect text will not appear in the Challenges menu display from now on, as developers have fixed this bug. Moreover, the issue causing Killsteraks bought from the Buy Station to drop under the map has been rectified. In Ranked, Blueprints will not allow Weapon Tuning adjustments as the update has fixed this issue.
