Zenimax Silently Expanded Its Studios To Montreal For Future Projects

Expect more Elder Scrolls Online content, as well as new unannounced projects

It appears Zenimax Online Studios has again expanded to a new branch, this time in Montreal. Various Job Listings have opened up recently for Zenimax Online Studios’ newest unannounced branch in Montreal. The company has experienced massive growth lately with its studios in Madison, San Diego, and Austin. It can only be assumed that there is something in the works within the company that hasn’t yet been announced, as well as plans for rapid growth in Elder Scrolls Online.

ESO has been doing considerably well since its release back in 2014. The game had a poor launch and was released to a lot of scrutiny but has since become one of the most successful MMORPGs in the industry. While it’s not really on the level of giants like World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy 14, Elder Scrolls Online has generated a hefty amount of players itself, and constant support from Zenimax ever since the game’s launch has kept it going steadily and it’s only gotten more and more successful with time.

Elder Scrolls Online
Elder Scrolls Online has been a massive success for Bethesda over the past few years.

Besides, Elder Scrolls Online. Bethesda’s other massive IP, Fallout, namely its online counterpart Fallout 76 has also been getting rapid improvements and content updates since its frankly disastrous launch back in 2018. The game was heavily criticized for its overwhelmingly buggy launch, technical issues, and boring gameplay and story. Much scrutiny has also been thrown at the game’s monetization practices which were akin to that of an F2P mobile game.

As of now, there isn’t much known about what’s in the pipeline for Zenimax Online Studios, but the recent expansion can only mean that there’s something big in the works, perhaps an online offering for another one of their big IPs? We can only wait and see what will be delivered.
