The following list is based on our personal preference, and you might find some other blueprints better than these ones. Some of these blueprints can be acquired by unlocking skills, while others can be found in different locations. So without any further due, let’s dive into the list. Tesla Shield Blueprint

Shields in Dying Light can protect you from getting attacked from the front. They can also be used to knock back enemies. As for the Tesla Shield, it is easily one of the best ones to use in the game because of many reasons. Other than knocking back enemies, the Tesla Shield also electrocutes them. This is something that can help you against a crowd of enemies.

For instance, you can use it to electrify the zombies and then either use the time to make a quick escape or repair your other weapons. In any case, the Tesla Shield is something everyone should try at least once. 

The Tesla Shield blueprint can be acquired by unlocking the Shield Crafting skills. After that, you’ll need the following items to craft this shield:

• 2x Duct Tape
• 2x Batteries
• 1x Power Cable

Stamina Booster Blueprint 

In Dying Light, melee attacks sometimes consume a lot of stamina. This can often become problematic as an empty stamina bar can put you at a great disadvantage against your enemies during combat. This is because while you won’t be using a lot of stamina against regular enemies, you will need it when fighting against huge ones. If you’re someone who’s tired of this problem, then this next item in our blueprints guide will help you out.

The Stamina Booster will provide your character with a temporary stamina boost. Not only will it allow you to perform more melee attacks, but it will also help you outrun your enemies. However, remember that while melee attacks won’t use any stamina while the boost is active, sprinting will still cause it to go down.

To get the Stamina Booster blueprint, you will first need to unlock the Boosters Survival skill. After that, the blueprint will automatically get unlocked, and you will be able to craft the booster for:

• 1x Alcohol

One important thing to keep in mind is that the effect of the booster will last for 45 seconds when you have the regular Boosters Survival skill and 90 seconds if you have the Booster XL.

Toxic Trap Bomb Blueprint 

The Toxic Trap Bomb is a Trap Bomb in Dying Light that you can use against a group of enemies. After you throw it, it will first attack all nearby enemies toward its location. Then, after a while, it will explode and infect all enemies caught inside its radius with poison. Therefore, the enemies will not only receive damage from the explosion but will also get caught in the poison’s effect.

Overall, the Toxic Trap Bomb is a useful throwable item that can even be used against powerful opponents. However, do make sure to get a little far away from the bomb as its blast can also damage and infect you.

The Toxic Tramp Bomb blueprint is unlocked after acquiring the Trap Bombs skill. You’ll need the following items to craft it:

Freezing Shield Blueprint 

The Freezing Shield is yet another amazing shield on our list that can protect you from incoming attacks, including gunfire. However, unlike the other shields available in the game, the Freezing Shield is the only one used for offensive purposes. When used against an enemy, the shield will freeze their movement and prevent them from attacking you.

However, while the Tesla Shield can be used against a group of enemies, this one can freeze only a single target. After freezing the target, you can either use your other weapons to take them down or make a quick escape if you’re low on health.

Like the Tesla Shield, the Freezing Shield blueprint is also unlocked after getting the Shield Crafting skill. You will need the following materials to craft it:

Night Hunter Booster Blueprint 

If you’re looking for something that can greatly enhance almost all of your abilities in Dying Light, then you should definitely try out the Night Hunter Booster. This is easily one of the best Dying Light blueprints because there isn’t other thing like it. After you use the booster, you will deal more damage, and your stamina will also increase greatly.

Furthermore, you will take less damage from enemy attacks while the booster’s effect is live. If you’re low on health, the booster will also grant you two health. Overall, the Night Hunter Booster is an amazing item to use in the game, and you should definitely keep it in your arsenal for times when you get stuck in a critical situation. 

To get the Night Hunter Booster blueprint in Dying Light, you will need to complete the co-op challenge called Night Hunter v Humans. Furthermore, you can also find it in medical boxes in the Harron Prison. However, keep in mind that it is a rare item, so you might not find it in the medical boxes during the first few times. Exploding Trap Bomb Blueprint

This is because out of all the Trap Bombs available in the game, this one deals the most damage, thus making it perfect for use against strong enemies such as Goons and Demolisher.

When you throw the Exploding Trap Bomb, it will first attract all nearby enemies towards it by creating a lot of noise and then explode after a couple of seconds. You will also see an alert message on the screen if you’re standing too close to the bomb. Make sure to stay outside the explosion radius as it might backfire on you. 

To get the Exploding Trap Bomb blueprint, you will need first to learn the Trap Bombs skill. After that, you will need the following materials to craft it:

• 1x Chemicals
• 1x Household Supplies

Poison Blast Blueprint 

If you’re looking for something that can help you transform your weapon into a poisonous one, then Poison Blast is the blueprint that can help you get the job done. This weapon modification grants a medium toxic and bleeding effect to the weapon it is applied on. At the moment, you can use it with any Axe, Pickaxe, or Sledgehammer. However, I suggest you use it with an Axe since the Sledgehammer is a slow weapon. 

To get the Poison Blast blueprint in Dying Light, you first need to make your way into Old Town. You will need to find the truck seen in the picture below.

Once you’ve found the truck, make your way to the back of it, and you’ll be able to find the blueprint in its compartment. You will need the following items to craft it:

• 2x Metal Parts
• 1x Alcohol
• 1x Nails
• 2x Blade
• 2x Aerosol
• 1x Electronics

Leaping Tiger Dao Blueprint 

Were you someone who previously hated using weapons like the Cleaver? Well, after learning about this weapon modification, you won’t. This is because the Leaping Tiger Dao is the type of weapon mod that can boost your weapon’s damage. In other words, it can transform the cleaver into a high-damage output weapon. Once used on the Cleaver, it will boost the amount of damage it deals after a few consecutive hits.

This means that along with Biters and Virals, it can be used against powerful enemies such as the Goons. However, you will need to be accurate with your hits. If you fail to land your attacks consecutively, you won’t get the damage boost.

The Leaping Tiger Dao blueprint is a DLC blueprint, and you can acquire it by purchasing the Shu Warrior bundle. Its crafting requirements are mentioned below:

Toxic Reaper Blueprint 

The Toxic Raper is yet another weapon on our guide that can transform your weapon into a lethal one. Just like the Poison Blast modification that we mentioned above, this one also grants your weapon a medium toxic and bleeding effect. However, while the Poison Blast can be used with an Axe, Pickaxe, and Sledgehammer, this one can be used with multiple other weapons. These include Long and Short Swords, Handsaws, Stickles, Scythes, Blades, Khopeshes, and Machetes.  

To get your hands on the Toxic Reaper Blueprint in Dying Light, you need to make your way to the location seen in the image below.

Once you reach there, you’ll need to go under the bridge. There, you’ll find a fan, and the blueprint will be inside it. After you acquire it, you will need these materials to craft it:

• 1x Duct Tape
• 1x Nails
• 2x Blade
• 2x Aerosol
• 1x Electronics 

Burning Throwing Star Blueprint 

When it comes to throwable items in Dying Light, Burning Throwing Stars are my absolute favorite. This throwable weapon can help you become a ninja in the game and provide you with the luxury of setting your enemies on fire. The burn effect causes damage over time, and it is perfect to use against Goons and Demolishers. This is because you’ll be able to deal damage to them while staying at a safe distance. Along with setting the enemy on fire, the stars also deal 25 damage upon impact.

Furthermore, if you combine the Burning Throwing Stars with Flammable Liquid, then you can set an entire group of zombies on fire. Overall, the Burning Throwing Stars are amazing, and you should definitely give them a try. 

To get your hands on the Burning Throwing Star blueprint, you will need to unlock the Elemental Throwing Stars skill. After that, you will be able to craft using:

• 1x Blade
• 1x Gauze
• 1x Aerosol

God Hammer Blueprint 

The God Hammer blueprint is considered one of the best weapon blueprints for many reasons. It can transform an Axe, Hammer, Hatchet, Pickaxe, or Sledgehammer into a weapon that can take on almost any enemy. As it applies a medium burning and electricity effect on the weapon, you’ll be able to take down the toughest of opponents by using the modified weapon. Overall, the God Hammer is a powerful weapon, and there are only some other few that come close to its might.

To get the God Hammer blueprint in Dying Light, you will need to start the side quest called Chasing Past. While completing it, you’ll come across a workshop inside an apartment. Once you’re inside this workshop, look for a workbench. The blueprint will be on it. After you have gotten your hands on it, you’ll need the following parts to craft the mighty weapon:

All-In-One Blueprint

If you’re looking for a blueprint that can apply medium electricity as well as a medium toxic effect on your weapon, then this one is for you. Thanks to the abilities offered, you can trust the modified weapon against multiple types of enemies. Overall, the All-In-One is a great modification, and there isn’t any reason why you shouldn’t try it. 

To get the All-In-One blueprint, you will need to make your way to the location seen in the image below.

Once you’re there, make your way inside the tower, and you’ll be able to find the blueprint on a desk. The following materials will be needed to craft the All-In-One:

• 2x Batteries

Angel Sword Blueprint 

Next up, we have the Angel Sword weapon modification that applies medium electricity and a medium-burning effect on the weapon. This one can be used with Blades, Machetes, Long and Short Swords, Handsaws, and Scythes. However, I suggest you use this medication with the Long and Short swords for the best results. Long Swords are extremely powerful and offer a high damage output.

On the other hand, Short Swords are quicker than Long Swords, but their damage output is lower than theirs. Both have their own uses, but by applying the Angel Sword modification to them, you can make them ideal for multiple situations. The modified weapon won’t let you down whether you’re facing a regular zombie or a powerful foe like the Demolisher. Overall, the Angel Sword blueprint is easily one of the best Dying Light weapon blueprints. 

To get the Angel Sword blueprint in Dying Light, you must complete the Troll quest located in Old Town. Upon successfully completing the quest, you will receive the blueprint as a reward. After you have acquired it, you will need to gather the following materials to craft the Angel Sword:
