Dying Light 2 Retail Copy Leaked Ahead Of Release

Devs urge players to wait until launch for day 1 patch.

Dying Light 2 is one of the most anticipated games for 2022. It’s no jaw-dropper that players won’t miss any opportunity to get their hands on a copy ahead of its release date. Techland‘s first zombie game left a lasting imprint on the zombie genre by blending elements of survival and parkour. Dying Light 2 is shaping up to be a worthy successor. It has already won the hearts of gamers through gameplays and trailers.

Many big titles are making their way into February; Dying Light 2 is just a few days away, some retailers are selling it early, as the leaks suggest. Consoles are more retailer-reliant after all, some retail copies found their way to the hands of a select few earlier.

Dying Light 2 Is Out Of The Woods

On Tuesday, Techland made a statement admitting that Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out in the open early. However, Techland has requested their fans practice a little more patience and hold off playing until they officially launch the game globally.

Some players showed concern to this statement, worrying that game may be infested with bugs. However, day one patches are necessary for most AAA titles; you never know what bug could be hiding until the game is tested by players worldwide. Dying Light 2 has appeared to be fully polished in the latest 2 hours leaked gameplay

The developers showed a lot of enthusiasm to their fan base, Stating they “couldn’t be happier.” They are familiar with how much anticipation surrounds their title. They further added, “That’s the way to experience Dying Light 2 the way it’s meant to be played.”

Despite their appeal, most players will likely dive into the latest retailed copy. There may be issues with the copy. Waiting for two more days can’t hurt, right? The relieving thing is no major bugs have been reported by the community who have been playing the copy.

It’s uncertain about how many players possess the leaked copy. The game went Gold before the 9.03 release, patching various exploits and bugs. So despite minor inconveniences, a game-breaking bug is not expected. We will not share the leaked screenshots or download links for the PS4 version.

Overall, Dying Light 2 is just two days away for those that can exercise patience. This zombie-infested post-apocalyptic world will take around 500 hours to fully complete. However, Techland will add more DLC and content down the road. The first title received a lot of content for roughly half a decade, keeping the community active. Dying Light 2 Stay Human comes out on February 4 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Let us know what your thoughts are regarding this latest leak of Dying Light 2.
