How To Unlock Clan Centurio

To unlock Clan Centurio hunts in Final Fantasy XIV, follow these steps:

  1. Requirements: You need to be a level 50 Disciple of War or Magic and have reached the rank of Second Lieutenant in your Grand Company.
  2. Talk to NPC: Visit the barracks of your Grand Company, and speak to the NPC at the following locations based on your Grand Company:
    • Scarlet (Twin Adder): New Gridania – Adders’ Nest (x:10, y:11.5)
    • Trachraet (Maelstrom): Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks – Maelstrom Command (x:12.8, y:12.8)
    • Mimio Mio (Flames): Ul’dah – Steps of Nald – Hall of Flames (x:8.6, y:9.4)
  3. Accept the Quest: The NPC will offer you a quest called “Let The Hunt Begin.” Complete this quest to gain access to A Realm Reborn hunts and Allied Seals. You can exchange these seals for rewards by talking to the Huntmaster at the barracks.
  4. Unlock Clan Centurio: After reaching level 53, go to Ishgard. Teleport to Foundation and visit The Forgotten Knight. Speak to Aytienne near The Forgotten Knight’s Aetheryte shard at (x:13, y:11.9). He will give you a quest called “Let The Clan Hunt Begin.” After speaking with Ardolain and examining the Clan Hunt Board, the quest will be completed, and Clan Centurio hunts will be unlocked for you.

  5. Progressing in Clan Centurio: To progress in Clan Centurio, you need to complete specific quests and reach certain levels:
    • Level 56: Speak to Eustacia outside of The Forgotten Knight in Foundation (x:12.7, y:11.7) to unlock the “Better Bill Hunting” quest.

    • Level 59: Teleport to Idyllshire and speak to Yloise at (x:6.5, y:6.9) to begin the “Top Marks” quest.

Completing these quests will unlock Two-Star and Three-Star Clan Mark Bills, which you can undertake as daily marks to earn rewards and experience points.

Keep in mind that this is a gradual progression system, so you’ll need to reach specific levels and complete the required quests to unlock higher-ranking marks in Clan Centurio.

Unlocking Heavensward Elite Mark Hunts

Next, in our Gnath Cometdrone location guide, we will talk about the family of B-Rank Elite Marks. Once you complete the previous quests and reach level 60 with your DoW or DoM job, teleport to Foundation. Speak to Ardolain at (x:13.1, y:11.9), and he’ll give you a quest called Elite and Dangerous. After examining the hunt board, you will have access to the weekly elite marks in Heavensward areas.

To unlock Heavensward Elite Mark Hunts, follow these steps:

  1. Requirements: Ensure you have completed the previous quests mentioned in your progression toward Clan Centurio, reaching level 60 with your Disciple of War or Magic job.
  2. Visit Foundation: Teleport to Foundation and seek out Ardolain at (x:13.1, y:11.9).
  3. Accept “Elite and Dangerous” Quest: Ardolain will offer you the quest “Elite and Dangerous.” Accept this quest, and it will unlock access to weekly elite marks in Heavensward areas.
  4. Examine the Hunt Board: After accepting the quest, examine the Clan Hunt Board to access these weekly elite marks.
  5. Rewards: Completing elite marks rewards you with 100 Centurio Seals and gil. You can exchange these seals for various rewards, such as riding maps, level 60 Job Gear, ventures, minions, housing items, and more. Speak to Ardolain and Yolaine at (x:13.1, y:11.9) to see the available items you can obtain with the seals.
  6. Hunting for Gnath Cometdrone: Gnath Cometdrone is one of the B-Rank elite marks. To find it, travel to The Dravanian Forelands and search for it at specific spawn points. Here are some possible locations:
    • (x: 25, y: 32)
    • (x: 28, y: 31)
    • (x: 27, y: 37)
    • (x: 18, y: 38)
    • (x: 10, y: 35)
    • (x: 17, y: 35)
    • (x: 21, y: 34)
    • (x: 12, y: 27)
    • (x: 14, y: 31)
    • (x: 20, y: 30)
  7. Combat Tips: When facing Gnath Cometdrone or any B-Rank elite, be cautious of its attacks. Dodge the Grenade AoE attack by moving out of the telegraphed circle. Its Flintlock attack is a weak-hitting move, and you can mitigate or ignore it.
  8. Spawning and Respawn: B-Rank elites like Gnath Cometdrone respawn approximately 5 seconds after their death. However, their respawn location is random, and they have multiple coordinates on their respective maps.
