Christopher Judge As Kratos  

The main character is Kratos, the former god killer, now a father. He’s trying to make peace with his past and cares deeply for his son. Kratos’s lines and voice actor, Christopher Judge, have left a big impact. Judge returned to voice Kratos, as he did in the 2018 God Of War. He’s known for playing Teal’c in Stargate SG-1, a significant sci-fi role.

Sunny Suljic As Atreus 

Kratos’ son, Atreus, was a surprise to players. He’s grown from being bratty and annoying to the heart of the game. After their journey, he teams up with his father to face his true self.

Sunny Suljic returned as Atreus, surprising players with his mature voice. Sunny Suljic is a top voice actor in God Of War Ragnarok and has acted in movies like “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” and Jonah Hill’s “Mid90s,” where he portrayed Stevie.

Ryan Hurst As Thor 

The big surprise character is Thor, revealed after the 2018 game. This Thor is ruthless, unlike the Marvel hero. The rivalry between Thor and Kratos excited players. Ryan Hurst, known for “Sons of Anarchy,” portrays Thor excellently in God Of War Ragnarok. He’s also appeared in “The Walking Dead” and “Bates Motel.

Richard Schiff As Odin  

In God Of War Ragnarok, players expected Odin to appear alongside Thor, and they were right. Odin is the true antagonist, and finding the right voice actor for this complex character was crucial.

Richard Schiff, known for “The West Wing” and “The Good Doctor,” successfully brings Odin to life with his horror and creepy voice-acting skills.

Emily Rose As Lady Sif

Lady Sif, the Norse Goddess of Earth and wife of Thor is a new character in God Of War Ragnarok. Players are curious about her motives. She’s shown affection for her stepsons Magni and Modi, and her distinctive feature is her long golden hair. In Norse mythology, she holds significance.

Emily Rose voices Lady Sif in the game and does a fantastic job. She’s known for her role in “Haven” as Audrey Parker, as Elena Fisher in the Uncharted games, and for voicing Laulai in “Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds.

Danielle Bisutti As Freya

Freya is a mysterious magical being in God Of War Ragnarok who helps Kratos and Atreus. However, she becomes an obsessive mother seeking revenge on them. Danielle Bisutti reprises her role as Freya, known for her versatility in voice acting and her work in movies like “Curse Of Chucky” and “Insidious Chapter 2

Alastair Duncan As Mimir 

Mimir, the guiding head, returns to assist in God Of War Ragnarok. He’s known for his wisdom and stories, which connect the game’s plot. Alastair Duncan reprises his role as Mimir, recognized for his splendid performance. He’s played various roles in video games, including Celebrimbor in Middle-Earth: Shadow and characters in the Mass Effect series.

Robert Craighead As Brok 

Brok, the funny yet intimidating dwarf, is known for making weapons. He returns in God Of War Ragnarok alongside his brother Sindri. Their brotherhood has its ups and downs, with a twist later on.

Robert Craighead voices Brok, and his performance captures Brok’s character well. He’s known for his work in TV series like “New Girl” and “Ruthless

Adam J. Harrington As Sindri 

Sindri, Brok’s twin, is a sweet and gullible craftsman, known for cleaning Kratos’ axe. He’s pure of heart and reunites with Brok in the prequel. They return to God Of War Ragnarok with new abilities, aiding Kratos and Atreus. Adam J. Harrington reprises his role as Sindri, maintaining a decent tone. He has acted in movies like “S.W.A.T” and “The Rookie.

Ben Prendergast As Tyr 

Tyr, a talked-about god from the previous game, is introduced in God Of War Ragnarok. Unlike Kratos, he preferred peace and was kind-hearted. He becomes an ally to Kratos and helps them in their journey. Ben Prendergast voices Tyr and is known for roles like Fuse in Apex Legends and Patroclus in Hades.

Laya DeLeon Hayes As Angrboda 

Angrboda is a new character in God Of War Ragnarok, a Jötunn with a significant role in the Ragnarok tale. She’s introduced as a love interest for Atreus and has secrets. Laya DeLeon Hayes voices Angrboda, portraying her character beautifully. Hayes has appeared in children’s movies and TV series, playing Zeena in “Raven’s Home” and Nadine in Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie.

Usman Ally As Durlin 

Durlin is a new character in the game, a dwarf with limited screen time but a significant role. He’s of standard dwarf height, known for carrying scrolls with crucial information and wearing a spectacle over his right eye.

The purple octopus on his shoulder adds to his mysterious look. As the plot unfolds, his role becomes clearer. Usman Ally, known for his role as Mohammed Al Jaffar on “Veep” and appearances in shows like “Suits,” portrays Durlin. His comedy work has made him well-known in the industry.

Chris Browning As Surtr 

Surtr, a short-term villain, has origins in Norse Mythology and plays a crucial role in the destruction of Asgard. He takes pride in being the 2nd born in the universe and wields fire powers.

In GOW Ragnarok, he leads the Fire Giants and Muspelheim, preparing for Ragnarok, where he will lead his clan to destroy Asgard. Chris Browning voices the evil Surtr, known for his roles in movies and appearances in “Bosch” and “Westworld.” His voice acting brings the character to life.

All of the “OG” God of War players would be happy to know that most of the voice actors from the previous version of the game are returning. With that, they bring back the nostalgia and the incredible voice-acting skills required to make the character impactful.
