The Draupnir Spear is Kratos’s brand-new weapon, and it is useful to reach spots you wouldn’t have reached otherwise. The Spear is strong and has a number of uses, but it can be stronger. You can attach gear to your spear to make it stronger. Hind of the Nine Realms is one such attachment available in the game, and it is believed to be the strongest. 

The Hind Of the Nine Realms has the ability to slow down time literally. You aren’t affected by the slow effect much and can continue to beat down the barely moving enemy who is defensiveness against your wraith. The Hind can be upgraded to increase its stats and make your spear even stronger. Moreover, with the Hind’s ability and stats boost, you should be able to take down anyone who stands in your path.

Although the stats of the Hind speak for themselves, the ability is where the Hind truly shines. The perk of the Hind of the nine realms is known as Realm Shift. Realm Shift is the Ability through which you slow down your enemies, rendering them defenseless.

Moreover, the ability will give you a huge advantage even against the strongest opponents. To activate the Realm shift, you will have to trigger Maelstrom at the moment your Maelstrom is full. That should allow you to slow down all enemies near you and unleash your fury. 

Stats And Upgrades

The Hind of the Nine realms is at a base level of six when you first attach it to your weapon. You can upgrade it all the way to level 9, making it insanely strong. The upgrades, however, are not free and will cost you a bit of some precious resources. However, the upgrades are truly worth it. 

To obtain the Hind of the Nine Realms in God of War Ragnarok, you must defeat the two Berserker Spirits. Once you have done that, you will receive the Hind of the Nine Realms as a reward. You can use the equipment for your Draupnir Spear. It will have the base stats of 16 Runic, vitality as well as a cooldown at level 6. All stats are the same and also stay the same as they increase with each upgrade.

Upgrades And Their Requirments 

To upgrade the Hind of the Nine Realms to level 7, you will need two resources. The resources will be 9,000 Hacksilver and 2 Petrified Bones. You should have a lot of Hacksilver on you, and the bones are very easy to obtain, so you might already have these resources so that you can upgrade it right away. Once you upgrade it to level 7, it will have the 19 Runic, Vitality, and Cooldown as well. 

Upgrading the Hind of the Nine Realms to level 8 might be a little more complex as compared to level 7. You will require a bit more Hacksilver and a few Scales of Lindwyrm. To be exact, you will require 12,000 Hacksilver and 4 Lindwyrm Scales. You will need to complete the side quest “The Lost Lindwyrms,” in which you receive quite a bit of the Lindwyrm scales. Once you have collected the materials and upgraded the Hind, you will have 23 Runic, Vitality, and Cooldown.

Now things get even more complicated when you try to upgrade the Hind to level 9. You will require 16,000 Hacksilver, 20 whispering Slabs, and 20 Gleaming Crystals. You can gather a bunch of whispering slabs by simply completing various side quests throughout the game. For the Gleaming crystals, you will have to gather the crystal shards at the creator and bring them to the wishing well. Once you have upgraded the Hind, your stats will be 26 Runic, Vitality, and Cooldown.

How To Unlock The Hind Of The Nine Realms

You unlock the Hind of the Nine Realms during the Favor “Fit For A King.” In the Fit For A King side quest, you have to go to Berserker gravestones and activate them to fight the Berserker spirits that spawn. For the Hind of the Nine Realms, you will have to travel to Svartalfheim. There you have to go to the area named “Jarnsmida Pitmines,” where you will find the Berserker gravestone. 

You will have to activate the gravestone and prepare for a fight. However, unlike the other gravestone, this one spawns in two Berserker spirits at the same time, making it a bit difficult to defeat both of them at the same time. You will have to do your best and overcome the challenge. It will be hard but try to focus on one Spirit at a time, and after finishing one, Focus on the other. 

Once you have defeated both of the spirits, they will drop numerous rewards on the ground. Just skim through the items and find the Hind of the Nine Realms, and you can equip it.
