You can do a barrage of Attacks by pressing L2+ R1. If you throw about 5 spears at an opponent, you can detonate them all at once. It explodes like a bomb, and you do that by pressing the triangle button.

Also, bear in mind that the cooldowns for the light and heavy abilities are not shared across the three weapons. Prioritize switching between each weapon and use your cooldowns frequently.
