The developers of NBA 2K24 added a Mamba game mode that allows players to relive seven of the most competitive moments in Bryant’s career. By completing these challenges (Mamba moments), players earn stars that can unlock exclusive in-game rewards.

Kobe Bryant wore the number 24 and engraved it into basketball history books during the last ten years of his career (2006 – 2016). As a result, the new NBA 2K24 developers paid homage to Kobe Bryant by featuring him as the cover athlete for their game.  

1. King Of Sac 

The first basketball match in the Mamba moments is the Western Conference Semifinal game four. On May 31st, 2001, the Lakers played against the Sacramento Kings at the Arco Arena. During the match, Kobe scored 48 points against the Kings and successfully captured sixteen rebounds.

You must complete the following tasks to get three stars in the challenge:

1. Win against the Kings.
2. Score forty-eight points.
3. Grab ten rebounds. 

2. Hail Of Threes 

The second Mamba moment in NBA 2K24 is Bryant’s three-point record in 2007 against the Seattle Supersonics. During this match, Kobe went on an absolute rampage against Seattle, scoring twelve shots from the deep. By doing so, Kobe set a new NBA record, broken eleven years later by Klay Thompson in October 2018.

To complete the challenge with three stars, you must meet the following objectives:

1. Defeat the Seattle Supersonics.
2. Hit twelve threes and shoot at least 50% from the three-point range.
3. Win by 20 points or more. 

3. Torch Passed

The Torch Passed Mamba moment commemorates Bryant’s last game against Michael Jordan in late March 2003. The previous match against Jordan was also Kobe’s best game against him, where he scored fifty-five points by the end. During this match, Kobe also had the Lakers team record for scoring 44 points in a single half.

To complete the third challenge, you must:

1. Win the match.
2. Score nineteen points in the first quarter and score fifty-five points in total.
3. Hold Michael Jordan under 20 points and get three steals. 

4. Sixty-two In Three

The fourth challenge in NBA 2K24 Mamba moments is one of the biggest performances in Kobe’s career. In December 2005, the Lakers played against the Mavericks in the Regular Season. After the first three quarters, Kobe had amassed sixty-two points against the Mavericks, which outscored their entire team’s score by one point.

To complete the challenge, you must:

1. Win the match against the Mavericks.
2.  Score sixty-two points in the first three quarters.
3. Attempt ten free throws in the first three quarters.

5. Scoring Machine

The Lakers vs. Blazers game on March 16th, 2007, was the second-highest-scoring game of Bryant’s career. In the match, Bryant started a fifty-plus score streak that lasted four games. Out of all the Mambad Moments in NBA 2K24, this one can be relatively harder to complete because you must also watch Branden Roy while maintaining your score. 

To perfectly complete the fifth Mamba moment:

1. Win the match against the Portland Trail Blazers.
2. Score sixty-five points. 
3.  Hold Branden Roy under fifteen points and get three steals.

6. A New Era 

A New Era replicates the Western Conference Finals Game 5 from 2008. The Lakers faced against the Spurs in an intense, ongoing rivalry for over a decade. During the match in late May 2008, Kobe scored thirty-nine points, which led the Lakers to the NBA finals. A noteworthy fact about the victory is that it was the first Lakers appearance in the NBA finals in four years.

To collect three stars in A New Era, you must:

1. Win against the Spurs.
2. Score 39 points.
3. Get at least three assists and make fifty percent of your shots from the field.

7. Will To Win

Will To Win is centered around Game Seven of the NBA Finals 2010. Using his trademark grit, Kobe Bryant finally won his fifth and final ring of his career. With severe defensive competition, the Lakers vs. Celtics match ended with a final score of 83 – 79. During this game, Kobe scored twenty-three points, which was decisive in securing the final victory for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Here are the main objectives for the final Mamba Monemt in NBA 2K24:

1. Win the match against the Boston Celtics.
2. Grab ten rebounds.
3. Hold Ray Allen under fifteen points.
