How To Ride The Roller Coaster In Cyberpunk 2077

Get Access To This Hidden Easter Egg to spend more leisurely time with Johnny Silverhand!

Learning how to ride the roller coaster in Cyberpunk 2077 is just one of many different and amazing Easter eggs. But you may only access it after Act 2 of the story has begun. Most people are unaware that you can access the Rollercoaster. Since it is technically a side mission, but thankfully, there is a way to unlock it with ease by completing a short and easy puzzle.

Key Takeaways
  • This Rollercoaster Easter egg is only available in Act 2 of Cyberpunk 2077’s story.
  • The Rollercoaster in Pacifica, Coastview, can be accessed without the “Love Rollercoaster” side quest by completing a small tucked-away puzzle in the area.
  • To re-enable the roller coaster, players need to use V’s scanner to examine the environment.
  • They will soon notice that the power has been cut out and needs to be brought back to the ride.
  • Simply locate the electrical box found nearby here and activate it to bring the power back.
  • Once players follow the short steps to fix the electrical box to access the Rollercoaster, they can enjoy a heartwarming scene with Johnny Silverhand.

In my experience, there are endless things to do in this game apart from shooting down robots, wreaking havoc, and riding cars. Furthermore, one of these allows you to access the Rollercoaster in this game, which is hidden just like all the other easter eggs in this game, but more or less, you can also ride it primarily through a side quest called “Love Rollercoaster.” However, I have detailed a guide below to ride it even without tackling the side quest.

Arrive At The Marked Location

Location of Rollercoaster Cyberpunk 2077 On the coast of Pacifica, Coastview, the massive failed resort location, you’ll get a glimpse of a huge full-sized Rollercoaster. You can’t access it right away; you’ll have to go through a side quest to access the Rollercoaster ride.

Go to the Mega Ride gate area to get started, and you’ll find the Rollercoaster next to it. The Rollercoaster will not be accessible right away due to the power being out. Go ahead and scan it first.

Interact With The Electrical Box

Once scanned, you’ll notice that the power is cut out. After you’ve finished scanning, turn left. Just below the fence, where you may hop over it, there is an Electrical box that has to be fixed. Go ahead and scan the electrical box and interact with it to fix it. Return to the Rollercoaster once you’re finished.

Once you head back, you will see a prompt on the roller coaster that will finally give you access to it. Go ahead and interact with it to unlock the Rollercoaster and enjoy the cinematic with Johnny.  After that, you may ride the Rollercoaster over and over again.
