Guide: How To Get Skyrim Quarried Stone

Skyrim Quarried Stone is a building material that was introduced into the game with the release of the Hearthfire DLC in 2012. It is an essential component for building many of the structures and stations that can be added to your personal homestead.

Quarried Stone in the game serves no purpose apart from being a component in house building. It cannot be used for any other crafting, and it has virtually no use until you purchase the land for your homestead.

Key Takeaways
  • Quarried Stone is a crucial building material used exclusively in house construction in Skyrim.
  • The available plots for house construction are Heljarchen Hall, Lakeview Manor, and Windstad Manor.
  • After building a small house, you can appoint a Steward to perform tasks and defend your homestead.
  • You can request supplies for the house, including Quarried Stone, which will be delivered to a chest.
  • Each Stone Quarry contains 4000 units of Quarried Stone, and three nodes in each homestead provide access to it.
  • Homesteads like Battle-Born Farm, Bilegulch Mine, Black-Briar Lodge, Darkwater Crossing, and Dawnstar contain these nodes
