Spider-Man 2: All 14 Marko’s Memory Crystal Locations

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s new side missions include collecting Marko’s Memories. These side quests involve the Spider-Men aiding Sandman, who crystallizes his physical memories for players to explore. Unlike most side quests, completing all Spider-Man 2 Marko’s Memory Locations does not give some unique suits but gives players a good chunk of XP and City Tokens. 

Spider-Man 2 Marko’s Memory Locations And Rewards

Spider-Man 2 Marko’s Memory Locations come with a group of sandman-like creatures that must be defeated before you can access the memory. You can complete these side quests as Miles, as his electrical powers can swiftly deal with the sandy enemies. However, completing these with Peter leads to a more meaningful dialogue due to his history with Marko.

You must remember that at first, 13 memory crystals are available. You must collect all 13 memories to unlock the 14th Memory Crystal. Marko’s Memories are scattered across Central Park, Chinatown, Downtown Brooklyn, the Financial District, Greenwich, Little Odessa, Midtown, and Williamsburg.

Central Park – 1 Marko’s Memory

The Central Park region has one Memory Crystal. You must head to the southeastern corner of Central Park to access this Marko Memory. Here, you will find the Crystal beside the Western end of the Lake.

Chinatown Region has 2 Spider-Man 2 Marko’s Memory Locations.

Chinatown Marko’s Memory 1

You can find one of the Memory Locations in Chinatown at the southwestern border of the region. It’s situated in the corner of an alleyway, nestled between a red brick building with red upper window frames and a tan brick building.

• Fade To Black Memory

Chinatown Marko’s Memory 2

For the second crystal in Chinatown, head to the northeast corner of Chinatown, where you’ll come across a cluster of high-rise apartments arranged in a plus-shaped formation. Explore the rooftops near this corner, and you’ll encounter a rooftop with both a higher and lower level situated next to a wind tunnel. Look for the crystal in the northeastern corner of the lower rooftop, close to a red door.

• Uninvited Guests Memory

Downtown Brooklyn – 1 Marko’s Memory

The only Marko Memory in Downtown Brooklyn can be located near the park in the district’s heart. Look for it in an alley positioned between two tall buildings. It’s worth noting that this particular spot can also be the site of a Break-In crime event. If such an event occurs, you’ll need to deal with both thugs and sand monsters simultaneously.

Financial District – 4 Marko’s Memories

The Financial District holds the most Four memory crystals.

Financial District Marko’s Memory 1

This is the first crystal you will come across during the second Main Mission of the game, titled “One Thing At A Time“. After freeing the civilians from a fire, you’ll descend a ramp of rubble and come across a crystal.

Miles will then face a hoard of sand creatures, and you’ll need to defeat them all to clear the area. Once the sandmen are defeated, return to the crystal and press Triangle to retrieve the memory. This action will unlock the very first memory, titled “She’s Gone“.

Financial District Marko’s Memory 2

This particular Memory is in the park at the southernmost point of Manhattan Island. The crystal can be found near the coastline of the park.

Financial District Marko’s Memory 3

The third Marko Memory in the Financial District is positioned near the northern border of the district. You’ll discover it in the middle of an alley between three buildings, with two directly bordering the street that marks the district’s northern boundary.

Financial District Marko’s Memory 4

One of the Memory locations in the Financial District is on the rooftop of a white building situated on the southeastern coast of the Financial District. Once you’ve defeated the sand monsters in the area, you’ll find the crystal at the northeast corner of the rooftop, near an aerial tower.

The only memory crystal in Greenwich can be found on the western side of the district. Look for the crystal positioned in the center of a basketball court surrounded by trees.

Little Odessa – 1 Marko’s Memory

You will find this crystal in the northwestern corner of the Little Odessa district. Search for a factory near the district’s border, near the highway. The crystal is situated on the factory’s rooftop, near the base of the eastern smokestack.

Midtown – 2 Marko’s Memories

The Midtown Region resides Two Marko’s Memories. 

Midtown Marko’s Memory 1

You can discover this crystal in the heart of Midtown’s eastern region. Head to the rooftop of a building located southeast of Grand Central Station. You’ll easily spot it because the station is below the towering Colexco building.

Midtown Marko’s Memory 2

First, Marko’s memory of this region can be found in the southern corner of Midtown. Look for the memory crystal tucked away in the back corner of an alleyway between a red and white building.

Williamsburg – 1 Marko’s Memory

To locate the solitary Marko Memory in Williamsburg, head slightly north of the bridge leading to Chinatown. Look for an apartment complex shaped like large steps. Just north of this complex, you’ll find a factory. The crystal is located at the base of the factory’s only smokestack.

• Broken Promise Memory

Remember – The 14th Memory

Once you’ve gathered all 13 Marko’s Memories, you’ll receive a lead to the final crystal located in the southwestern part of Downtown Brooklyn.

The Giant Crystal

Interact with this crystal, and you’ll be transported to another dimension, where you’ll be instructed to follow a sandy beam of light. As you progress, you’ll encounter Sand Minions that you must defeat. When you finally reach a giant crystal, use objects from the environment to attack it while taking on the Sand Minions. Once the crystal shatters, collect it, and you’ll return to the real world.

Delivering It To Keemia

You will obtain the Together Again Memory Collectible for completing this Memory Location. Your last task is to deliver this crystal to Sandman’s daughter, Keemia, in Astoria.

Afterward, MJ informs you that Marko’s mental health is improving, and he apologizes for the mess he created at the Start of the Game.

‘Grains Of Sand’ Trophy

Collecting all 14 Marko’s Memories will unlock the “Grains of Sand” Trophy.
