Focus Entertainment has also confirmed that it is teaming up with A Plague Tale developers for “another exciting project.” Many fans have alleged that the team is already brewing the third entry in the series. Plenty of evidence also alludes to the same path. A job listing for the Senior Game Designer role has asked the employee to have played the last two titles in the series.
Similarly, job listings by the studio that popped up in July this year also hinted toward a third Plague Tale game. One of the ads wanted to “strengthen the team” behind A Plague Tale: Requiem for a project that utilizes the highly popular IP. The ads by the studio hinted towards multiple projects, but not many details are known.
As reported in April, the LinkedIn profile of the project’s Technical Director, Olivier Goguel, mentioned that he was working on an AAA title. It could have been in development since 2021, so there is a possibility this is another in-development title.
