Alan Wake 2 Extensively Supports Game Help On PlayStation 5

Alan Wake 2 has become the latest title to utilize the Game Help feature on PlayStation 5, as the survival horror sequel supports it extensively. Thoma Puha, the Communication Director at Remedy, thanked Sony in a post on X for collaborating with the studio and helping them implement this feature. Therefore, if you are stuck somewhere in the game, you can use your PS button to get some helpful tips from activity cards.

Like other games that support Game Help, Alan Wake 2 will have playthrough videos and other hints to help the user, as per Thomas. In addition, some puzzle solutions will also be available in the nifty PlayStation 5 feature, but players will have to solve most of the puzzles by themselves.

Alan Wake 2 has joined an ever-growing list of video games that make use of the Game Help feature on PlayStation 5. When the console came out in 2020, only a handful of titles, most of which were first-party, utilized this incredibly helpful addition. But now, dozens of PS5 games ease the user’s experience through Game Help and many third-party titles are incorporating this component in their games.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Borderlands 3 are just some of the big AAA games that have implemented this feature since the console’s launch. Furthermore, titles that support Game Help have a special symbol beside them in their PlayStation Store listing to help the players. Getting access to this feature while playing a game on the PlayStation 5 is actually pretty simple.

All you have to do is press the PS button on your controller when you need some direction and an activity card will show up on the screen. If there are Game Help tips present for that specific level, the icon will show up on the activity card. When you click on this card, some objectives specific to the mission will be visible and if they have the Game Help symbol on them, you’ll get instructions on how to achieve that objective.
