Amazon Luna has faced quite a decline in the number of their users over time considering the number of titles the platform has lost in recent times. And, now it seems like, to save the sinking ship, Amazon Luna might be bringing one of the most successful games, Fortnite, to their gaming catalog.
According to reports, a user of Amazon Luna on Reddit saw Fortnite in their library last week. However, the game was quickly removed from the service, according to information from 9to5Google.
The now-removed screenshot showed the most recent version of the game with artwork from the Chapter 4, Season One trailer in place. If you look for the game listing in the Luna web app, you will notice the label “Not Available.”
The Reddit user who saw the game in their library said that they were able to link their Epic Games account—a feature that Amazon Luna was not known to offer—and that the game supported play on accounts that have Amazon Luna+ subscriptions or Amazon Prime.
In addition, Twitter user @GMatrixGames discovered coding confirmation that Fortnite would be adding support for Amazon Luna, corroborating this screenshot proof.
The leak is given greater credence as a result than it otherwise would. According to the information that is currently accessible, the game’s release is soon. Nevertheless, there is no set release date at this time.

The addition of Fortnite is a positive step for Amazon Luna, a cloud gaming platform that has been vying for recognition in the brutally competitive gaming industry because of its formidable competition.
The limited number of games available on the platform has also drawn criticism from a number of users and reviewers as a serious flaw. But, the recent revelation of Fortnite’s inclusion on Amazon Luna has rekindled interest in the platform.
According to reports, in only February alone, Amazon Luna lost more than 50 titles from its Luna+ membership. 53 games have been removed by Luna, including “Retro Classic: Gate of Doom,” “Snake Pass,” and “Bridge Builder Portal.”
“Our goal with Amazon Luna has always been to keep our selection as fresh as possible and to offer a wide array of high-quality, immersive games for our customers. With that in mind, we’ll be refreshing our content offerings,” Amazon explained in a statement to 9To5Google.
