Fortnite Might Be Adding A Peter Griffin Skin To The Game

Fortnite devs are working on a male skin with the code name "FrenchFry," the same code name for the Family Guy leak from 2 years ago.

Epic Games is apparently developing entirely new cosmetics called “FrenchFry,” which leakers such as HYPEX and GMatrixGames believe are related to the Family Guy animated series. Fortnite is known for its crossovers, but Family Guy has been noticeably absent from the battle royale game.

Superheroes, video game characters, anime protagonists, and even celebrities can be found in the same battle royale encounter, but the long-running animated comedy franchise has yet to be seen.

                                                           Major Takeaways.

  • Fortnite working on a male skin with the codename “FrenchFry.
  • It is the same codename for the Family Guy skin leak from 2 years ago.
  • Data miner GMatrixGames speculates the code “FrenchFry” is a codename for the skin, which is “likely Peter Griffin.

Since its debut in 1999, Family Guy has been one of the most popular adult animated series. While the show has had its ups and downs throughout the years, it has always been an important part of American society, with teenagers in the 2000s frequently referencing it. Now it appears that one of America’s classic adult animation series is being featured in an unexpected place: Fortnite.

For months, rumors have circulated that Family Guy’s emblem will be making an appearance in Fortnite. The rumors began on April 5, 2022, when Epic Games broadcasted a webcast regarding Unreal Engine 5.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed some strange folders on the screen during the live stream. One gamer even zoomed in to decipher the hard-to-read folder names.

It turns out that the three folders said “Family Guy.” “Doom,” and “VADER.” Given that everything except the former has come true, this is a further indication that these names were not shown by chance.

According to data miners like GMatrixGames, the code “FrenchFry” is a pseudonym for the skin, which is “likely Peter Griffin.” This has not been confirmed in any way.

On February 21, 2021, a material codenamed “FrenchFry” that utilized a Family Guy clip was decoded. This made no sense at the time. Nonetheless, speculations of a possible collaboration spread and captivated the community. New information has finally been revealed about two years after this occurred.

When data miners uncover a file in the game, it usually signifies that the character is in active development and nearing completion. We won’t know for sure what this “FrenchFry” skin is until Epic announces it, but many are speculating about how bizarre such a collaboration would be.
