LEGO Fortnite: How To Craft A Glider [Step By Step Guide]

Here is how to make a Glider in LEGO Fortnite and start traveling to the farthest distances by saving time.

Just like the battle royale game, LEGO Fortnite has gliders too. Gliders are one of the best ways to travel in the game, but crafting them is tricky. You must collect various items from caves and sandland biomes, but the result is worth it.

Key Takeaways
  • For Glider, you need a Crafting bench of a rare level in LEGO Fortnite.
  • The ingredients for the Glider are Flexwood Rods, Wool Fabric, and Silk Fabric.
  • Flexwood can be found by breaking cacti in the dry valley biome, and Wool and Silk fabric can be found in sheep and spiders.
  • Flexwood Rods are made using the lumber mill, and for Wool and Silk fabric, you need to craft a loom.

After you have upgraded your crafting bench to the Rare level, you will see the Glider in the tool section.

You will not find the Glider in your uncommon crafting bench. If you still cannot find it, you can collect the ingredients, and then the recipe will be unlocked. You need 8 Flexwood Rods, 4 Wool Fabrics, and 6 Silk Fabrics for the Glider.

Where To Find The Ingredients For Glider?

You will find only three necessary ingredients after unlocking the Glider recipe in LEGO Fortnite. However, obtaining these components requires a lot of effort. So, it is suggested that you increase your stamina before starting your adventure.

1. Flexwood Rod

For Flexwood Rod, you must go to Dry Valley Biome in your in-game world. Flexwood is obtained by cutting down cacti, but cacti cannot be cut with an uncommon axe. Cut down the cactus using a rare forest axe, which is unlocked when you upgrade your crafting bench to a rare level. After getting Flexwood, you need to put them in a lumber mill to get Flexwood Rods.

As you cannot cut cactus with an uncommon axe, the best and most accessible way to get flexwood is by using dynamite. You can craft it with a knootroot rod and blast powder or by defeating the Dryland biome mobs. This is the quickest way to gather flexwood in LEGO Fortnite. I was lucky enough to find dynamite in a chest near the biome, making collecting Flexwood much easier for me.

2. Wool Fabric

Collecting Wool for Wool Fabric is, in my opinion, the easiest thing to collect out of the three. To get wool, you must find sheep, primarily found in the grassland biomes. Two ways to get wool are to kill the sheep or simply pet them. Both ways have pros and cons. When you kill a sheep, you get meat and wool, whereas by petting, you only get wool.

I suggest petting the sheep and returning to their last location to reclaim wool. This makes them an infinite source. After collecting wool, you must make Wool thread using the Spinning wheel. Then, to make wool fabric, you need five wool threads. So, in short, you need twenty Wool from sheep for the Glider.

3. Silk Fabric

The only way to get silk in-game is by killing spiders. I think Spiders are the easiest enemies to defeat in LEGO Fortnite. You can kill a spider without any weapon, but be careful. Sometimes, more than one spider can spawn near you, but you can use the epic long sword as it can damage multiple enemies in one blow.

After getting silk, head to the spinning wheel to make silk thread. After that, you need the loom to make silk fabric. One silk makes one Silk thread, but you need five silk threads to make silk fabric. Collectively, you need thirty silk for six silk threads.

After making a glider in LEGO Fortnite, add it to your equipment section on the bottom right of your inventory. The best way to use a glider is to pair it with a launch pad. You can travel the farthest by placing a launchpad on high ground and using the Glider. I recommend asking a villager for exploration when gathering wool or silk, as they help gather everything for you.
