Ranked PvP in AC6 will utilize automatic matchmaking to determine players of similar combat prowess and pit them against each other. Player skill will be gauged via Ranks divided into six levels starting from Unranked, D, C, B, A, and S. In classic fashion, you’ll be able to raise your rank by earning points. The top 100 S-Rank pilots will have a distinction displayed on their rank icon as a testament to their prowess.

PvP rules outlined in the release notes state that Ranked will employ 1v1 and 3v3 rulesets. Earning RP in the former will require you to win while the latter takes individual contribution into account as well. The time limit will be set to 120 seconds for 1v1 and 180 seconds for 3v3 with map selection being randomized.

Furthermore, units using Tetrapod legs will now have decreased movement in mid-air due to recoil from relevant weapons.
