Developer Mundfish has released a brand-new patch for Atomic Heart that adds the much-requested photo mode to the game. Titled update 1.7.0.0, this new patch has also introduced new specific graphics and display settings for the Steam Deck version of the FPS tile. The new update is rolling out right now on all platforms and the devs have also released patch notes to give us a detailed look at the changes.
Besides the main changes mentioned above, the Atomic Heart update 1.7.0.0 has also added AMD FSR 2.2 technology for PC users. Furthermore, the Mundfish shooter game will have improved car physics after the application of this new patch. As per the release notes, the update has also improved the title’s stability on all platforms, fixing many small bugs and rare crashes.
In addition, the developers have recommended some ways players can solve certain issues appearing in Atomic Heart. If you face an issue with the Steam version of the game, you first need to go over the game files and check their integrity. Furthermore, you can also update your driver to the latest version to upgrade performance but this applies to NVIDIA only.
According to the patch notes, the issues with unlocking achievements have already been rectified in Atomic Heart. However, as per the developers, you may face some issues in rare cases. This includes the delay in getting achievements on platforms that require an Internet connection for this process. Players who achieved all of the trophies on save games before the day one patch was deployed, may face some problems.
For example, if you fulfilled all of the necessary requirements to unlock a trophy but it still remained locked, you will need to re-execute all of the conditions by starting a new Atomic Heart save. Moreover, another rare bug prevents players from unlocking every achievement except the “The Motherland Does Not Forget Its Heroes” trophy. But, solving this is very easy as you only need to start a new game to attain this achievement.
The game will recalculate the data at the launch of the new game which will also entail unlocking the trophy. These were all of the changes which arrived in Atomic Heart through the latest patch which is available to download right now on all platforms and you can try out the new photo mode on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox series X, and Xbox series S.
