A game’s success can be somewhat predicted based on how well it sells before release. Black Myth: Wukong seems to have a bright future ahead in that regard. As spotted by @Okami13_ on Twitter, the RPG is selling like hotcakes on Steam. The game’s pre-orders have been so successful that it is currently the top-selling on the platform. Okami points out that it also regularly stayed in the top 5 on Chinese Steam for the past two months.
It reached the top spot after surpassing many established giants, like Elden Ring, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, and the like.
