Control Ultimate Edition comes with the base game and the expansions that were released later. The expansions included in the package are “The Foundation” and “AWE.” The latter being the first expansion to come out for the title, The Foundation was released almost 11 months after the game’s release and was a fair success on arrival.
The DLC also contains a new map and adds two unique abilities: Create and Fracture and multiple new collectibles. The expansion introduces sidequests that featured “Altered Items” that “have been acted upon by paranatural forces.” The second expansion, “AWE,” was released on Control’s launch anniversary, a month after the release of The Foundation.
The currently discounted price of Control Ultimate Edition will last until April 22, so better move quickly if you intend on grabbing the title. Control was released on August 27, 2019. It was developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games. The game is available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.
