Marvel Snap’s Cyber Holiday Bundle Costs A Whopping $100

A tad bit steep.

If you are willing to pay a hefty amount to buy a single card bundle Marvel Snap has quite a deal for you. Much to the shock of fans the game has multiple different upgrades that will cost $100.

So what merits such a huge price tag? Well, the thing is that the offer is only here for a limited time making it more valuable in the eyes of Marvel Snap enthusiasts. This was first brought to the limelight by a Reddit user, in their post they shared a screenshot of the bundle.

MAJOR TAKEAWAYS:

  • Marvel Snap has introduced a card bundle that will cost players a hundred dollars.
  • It is a limited-time offer.
  • The bundle will include a single card, 3,000 Collector’s Tokens, 9,500 Credits, and 155 Apocalypse Boosters.

Inb4 $100!? from MarvelSnap

The bundle is in fact part of Marvel Snap’s Cyber Holiday and it will be live for the next 3 weeks. With such a heavy price tag one would expect the best of the best items to be included in it. The Cyber Holiday bundle has four main components.

  • Apocalypse card (Kim Jacinto Variant)
  • 3,000 Collector’s Tokens
  • 9,500 Credits
  • 155 Apocalypse Boosters

All four things amount to 7500 gold in the Marvel Snap’s in-game shop. Now, the 7500 gold when converted will equal around $100.

There seems to be a mixed reaction from the community about the huge price tag. Many fans on the Marvel Snap subreddit seem rather mystified by the substantial price.

One fan said, “We went from the 2.99 captain America bundle to this.” Many in the comments seem to agree with the sentiment saying that the price of the bundle seems to come out of nowhere.

Similarly, commenters seem to think that not many fans would be willing to buy it, no matter how much of a hard-core fan they may be. One fan said, “Will people actually buy this? It seems absurd.”

Another fan had a similar opinion stating, “I could buy a new pair of running shoes that would last me 18 months, or shiny pixels on screen.”

Moreover, many fans seem to think that the idea of spending $100 seemed ludicrous, especially considering the fact much better games could be purchased with the same amount.

However, a substantial chunk of Marvel Snap fans is actually quite excited about the bundle. Many were defending its price. Stating that the weekly rewards alone should give players enough gold to be able to purchase it and still have some spare left.

Marvel Snap is a free-to-play game that was initially released on October 18, 2022, after a period of beta testing. Just recently in November, the game got another patch note. The game is available on iOS, Android as well as PC.
