Story Highlights
- Various users from Reddit have claimed that Microsoft has allegedly removed their reviews of Motorsport.
- Users also reported a major discrepancy in the numbers of reviews as the number of total reviews kept going lower with time.
- A look into the game’s store page also confirms this as the number of reviews between a 40 minute interval have gone down from 847 to 602.
It seems that Microsoft is once again finding itself on the hotbed of controversy as users claim that the company is deleting reviews of Forza Motorsport from the Xbox Store. Users from Reddit have reported that their reviews of the game are disappearing from the review page on the Xbox store and that the review count is slowly going down.
Fortunately, this isn’t hard to prove as a user from NeoGAF has posted a screenshot of the store page as of 40 minutes ago showing the total number of reviews. The standard edition of the game at that time had a total number of 847 reviews and a 2.6 user score.
After checking the store page ourselves, a startling discovery!
The review count of Forza Motorsport changed from 847 to 602 by 3:38 AM with a 2.5 overall score. A large chunk of negative reviews on Xbox seem to call out the game’s poor optimization and lack of polish. Forza Motorsport is also available on Steam with a mixed user rating. Players have cited the game’s visuals, mechanics, and handling as notable qualities but a majority of players have reported very poor performance on PC.
