Persona 3 Reload May Get An Expansion Pass, Suggests Rumors

Persona 3 Reload has only been out for about two days, and fans are already beginning to wonder about potential DLCs planned for it. However, datamined info has revealed that the remake is getting six new pieces of DLCs in the form of an expansion pass. The datamine and its details were shared by the insider @ruinedsteg0 on Twitter, who dug them out from the hidden files.

The DLC includes background music from Velvet Room, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royale. An Exploration Item Set will also be added to the game to help you explore the main dungeon in Persona 3 Reload, Tartarus. However, the biggest finding arguably is “The Answer” epilogue DLC, which adds a new story episode. It serves as a sequel to the main story focused on Aigis. A Costume Set from Velvet Room is also included in the pass.

The credible Atlus insider @MbKKssTBhz5 was the first who found The Answer epilogue expansion for the game. She holds a good track record, so the corroboration through datamining further confirms the notion. According to her, the DLC is suspected to be released next year. Additional Persona 3 Reload insiders have also arrived at a similar conclusion that the entry is getting an expansion pass in the future.

All in all, we suggest taking the rumor with a big pinch of salt. There have been instances in the past where datamined Persona 5 DLC files were never released into actual expansions for the games, at least so far. However, such a possibility is unlikely to happen since multiple rumors and insiders have corroborated the new findings.

The remake of the original Persona 3 has only been out for a while but seems to be highly cherished by the new and veteran players. It is currently sitting a staggering 93% rating on Steam. The title’s launch has also been exalted among the fans after it became the most successful in the IP’s history. However, we will soon learn of its exact status —compared to other entries— when Atlus officially confirms the number of sales it has made weekly.

Persona 3 Reload was released to critical acclaim on February 2, 2024, for platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. eXputer’s Hammad Ijaz has reviewed the game thoroughly and gave a generous 4.5/5 score. Despite a few performance hiccups, the remake features an endearing story with well-written characters that easily envelop you in its lofty art direction.
