RoboCop: Rogue City is a video game adaptation done right, having won the hearts of fans and critics for offering an accurate gameplay experience with just the amount of stiffness required to make us truly feel like Detroit City’s very own cyborg law enforcer. As such, publisher Nacon, in a new press release, has stated that its freshly released game has “exceeded expectations,” presumably in terms of sales and fan interest.
The CEO of the company Alain Falc has addressed the audience in the post, confirming Rogue City’s sprawling success. Prior to the title’s release, Nacon confirmed in a financial report that the game has clocked “record presales” and that strong growth is expected going forward, particularly in the second half of 2024.
RoboCop: Rogue City has exceeded our expectations, and achieved a genuine feat as far as NACON is concerned. We are really proud to have been able to work with the studio Teyon on this game created by and for RoboCop die-hards. We would also like to thank MGM for the trust they placed in us throughout this collaboration, as well as all the players who have contributed to making this release such a great success,” said Nacon’s CEO.
RoboCop: Rogue City’s developers have also released an Accolade Trailer for the first-person shooter as of late, illustrating some of the positive words that the game has received so far, not to mention a review round-up as well that speaks volumes regarding Rogue City’s first impressions. Commenting on the news, one user remarks, “This game absolutely nailed the original storyline and lore and people ate it up.”
Elsewhere, the press release has released interesting statics regarding Rogue City, saying that the first-person shooter has gathered more than 435,000 players within two weeks of its launch and that about 2.7 million sessions have been generated in-game. In addition, the title has managed to collect a 92% rating on Steam, with the vast majority of users praising RoboCop for all that it brings to the table.
