Shadow of Tomb Raider available worldwide

Lara Croft and her adventures have been around since 1996. The first ever title which was developed by Square Enix, revolving around a woman as the main villain butt-kicker and protagonist. Eight whole instalments and a bunch of spin off titles later, Square Enix makes a comeback with the ninth instalment of the series, Shadow of Tomb Raider.

The game is defined as the most important one of the series, dubbing it as Lara Crofts most defining moment yet. As the story of this title unravels, Lara Croft must make her way through difficult spaces and places in order to prevent the Maya’s Apocolypse. To couple with the game launch, Square Enix was keen to release a launch trailer to go along with it as well. The trailer can be seen below

The game holds great significance as it begins to wrap up the story of Lara Croft, putting an end to the long and difficult journey that she went on. Yet, this story proves to be her most difficult one yet.

The game is available for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One today online and for retail purchase.
