The Next DLC For The Sims 4 Might Be Carnaval Streetwear

It will celebrate the Brazilian culture in a vibrant and fun way.

Released in 2014, Sims 4 has been the main game in the series for 8 years. The game has received a lot of new content in this period. EA has pumped out plenty of stuff for the game since its release. From DLC’s to expansion, a good amount of content has been released to keep players attached. And now, a new DLC may be on its way.

Twitter user Aggiornamenti Lumia discovered a Microsoft store listing for a new Sims 4 DLC. A screenshot revealed The Carnaval Streetwear kit based on Brazilian festivals. The DLC is going to release on February 3 according to the leaks. Lumia deleted the tweet containing leaked information but fans saved the details. The screenshot is present on the Sims community fan site along with other info.

The leaked screenshot reveals the new DLC.

EA gave fans a “roadmap” to excite them for the new content. This included a new game pack and two more kits. The store listing is probably one of the two kits coming out this season. So, this uncovers one of the two upcoming DLC’s. No information about the other DLC is known as of now. When a user asked Lumia for more information, they didn’t want to “ruin the fun”.

The leaked Carnaval Streetwear kit celebrates Brazilian culture. With colorful designs, the fit portrays the fierce clothing of Brazil. The clothes are vibrant and revealing, depicting the special lifestyle of the country. So, the DLC keeps the planned promise of more lively and vibrant kits.

The game has got a huge influx of content since its release. EA and developers Maxis have done a lot of work to bring in new players and keep the current ones on board. As a result of this, the game has more than eleven Expansion Packs. Other packs include nine “Kits” and eighteen “Stuff Packs”. The Sims 4 has also received paid content in the form of DLC’s. Free updates for the game have also been provided regularly. EA has made major additions to the game free of cost and also added other features throughout its lifespan. Sims 4 racked up to 36 million players worldwide in 2021. So, it’s fair to say that EA has done a good job of keeping the game alive.

We still have no information about the other content coming to the game. No details have been provided about the next Expansion Pack and the content present in the other DLC is still unrevealed. This roadmap goes till the end of March so we will have to wait a bit more for new items. What do you think about this leak? Are you excited about the Carnaval Streetwear kit or not?
