Many leaks about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League have sprawled around the gaming forums ever since the internal beta tests. In the past, the core two-hour gameplay from the intro surfaced alongside each playable character’s abilities. Now, the latest batch of leaks seemingly brings quite an intriguing and spoiler-filled detail about Poison Ivy, which may have confirmed her fate after her implied death in the Arkham Knight entry.

Note: The rest of the article could be filled with potential spoilers for the awaited WB live service project. Please continue reading at your own risk.

The leak was posted by u/MistahJ17 on r/GamingLeaksAndRumors, unveiling photos uploaded on Imgur with the character model of Poison Ivy. It seems that she would be reborn in the game and reduced to being a child after her demise. In a way, it could be similar to how Groot’s sacrifice was handled in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Nevertheless, it is unclear whether Suicide Squad takes place in the same universe as Arkham Knight.

Poison Ivy was hinted to be killed at the end of Arkham Knight. So, fans have suspected that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League may see her reincarnated due to her specific powers, turning her back into a child. However, not everyone is happy with the rumored fate of the character. Numerous fans have expressed disdain at the new direction and want Warner Bros to reconsider or change her design.

The second major spoiler was included in the new set of story leaks as a 4-minute audio file with the reveal of Superman’s voice actor. It takes a chunk of the campaign’s lore, which can be a tad bit hard to understand while hearing for the first time without context. On the other hand, you can also hear the boss fight theme song for the Batman battle in the leaked audio files. The new theme song has been generally liked by most of the community.

All in all, the fans are quite divided on the matter of Poison Ivy’s design. A slew of players are curious about her lore, while others are criticizing her new child-like appearance. The devs’ new approach to Brainiac’s design has also been viewed in a similar way. He has adopted more of a purple hue instead of the usual green design in other media. Like Poison Ivy, his design has caused a split among the anticipated fans.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is slated to release on February 2, 2024, after a myriad of delays and directional changes over the years. We can expect the live-service RPG to arrive for Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PC, and PlayStation 5, but no last-gen consoles were confirmed.
