New Suicide Squad Trailer Reveals The Rogue Outfits Bonus

Players demand more from the gameplay aspect though.

Story Highlights

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming live service shooter by Rocksteady and WB.
  • The devs have revealed another trailer for the title, and this time, it concerns a pre-order bonus.
  • Available digitally on the PlayStation 5 only, the trailer showcases the squad’s Rogue Outfits.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is coming in hot early next year, but that doesn’t mean the developers are going to be slowing down on pushing its marketing. Taking to YouTube, Rocksteady, and WB Games have released a new trailer for the third-person shooter, unveiling the Rogue Outfits pre-order bonus for the squad that PlayStation 5 players would only receive upon purchasing the title ahead of time.

If you head over to this pre-order page of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, you’ll find that the “Edition” section there explicitly mentions that the Rogue Outfits bonus is for PS5 players only, so Xbox Series X|S and PC users will have to sit this one out. Nevertheless, these platforms will still get Classic Outfits for the squad, the ones whose origins trace back to the actual comics.

For those not in the know, you can also get the Deluxe Edition of Suicide Squad in the sense that you can pre-order and purchase it right now, and enjoy its add-ons and other benefits when it’s time for the title to release. It packs a 72-hour early access period, and a number of other cool stuff, such as the No Shade Color Swatches option for players to immerse into.

On a side note, the devs released another Suicide Squad trailer a week ago, calling it “No More Heroes.” That one showcased some of the in-game boss fights and the presence of Wonder Woman’s working mind as she appears to be free from Brainiac’s telekinetic controls. From what we’ve seen so far, I believe Suicide Squad’s story campaign will be fairly enticing; can’t say much about the Battle Pass and live service part.

Suicide Squad has a release date of February 2, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Ever since word concerning its core gameplay element has spread, fans have lambasted Warner Bros. Games for turning the project into a live service shooter, and continue to do so. For reference, the game was first teased back in 2020.
