Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice is looking hot these days, as the live service shooter title aims to make landfall on its specified release date next year. The game revolves around a host of misfits taking center stage as the Justice League goes rogue, with Deadshot — an extremely skilled marksman — being one of them. In recent times, a new trailer focusing on our guy has been outed, offering a closer look at what to expect from the character.

He’s an egotistical loner, but a real pro around these anarchists,” narrates Amanda Waller as she introduces the character to the masses. One of the more interesting parts about the whole trailer is that it teases a rivalry between Green Lantern and Deadshot, so a big boss battle between these two (with the rest of the squad helping, of course) definitely looks on the cards now.

The Braniac-controlled Green Lantern and his wrongdoings were shown off more in-depth at the Suicide Squad reveal that took place two weeks ago. For those who missed it, WB Games has started a new YouTube series called Suicide Squad Insider that will episodically shed light on the upcoming RPG over the course of its remaining pre-release period.

At the very end of the Deadshot reveal video, the devs push for the marketing of the squad’s Classic Outfits, available only to those who pre-order the game. But that’s not all—Suicide Squad’s Digital Deluxe Edition is up for pre-order too, and its bonuses encompassing a Battle Token for future developments, various other outfits, and exclusive weapons have been outed lately.

In other news, though, Suicide Squad has suffered a gameplay leak in recent times, with a 10-minute-long video making rounds on the internet, followed by another, relatively lengthier one. Can’t say much about anything else, but the narrative had me gripped with the leaked video, and I’m pretty sure it’ll have the same effect on you as well. Beware, though, minor spoilers will follow.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on February 2, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game has been subject to criticism ever since its live service gameplay model was introduced. That said, Rocksteady is hosting closed playtests for the game at the moment, so players can offer devs valuable feedback on how to improve the RPG before its launch.

Feel free to head over to Suicide Squad’s official website to register for the playtest.
