According to rumors that have surfaced online will be Warzone 2.0 will in fact will be a completely separate application.
A Twitter user The Ghost Of Hope had something very remarkable to say. According to him, we will not need to have Modern Warfare 2 to be able to access Warzone 2.0
Hence, Warzone 2.0 can now be played as a standalone. However, does that mean it will not work with Modern Warfare? That’s not the case. Users will have several options to pursue in that regard.
- Only have Warzone 2.0 installed.
- Only have Modern Warfare installed.
- Have both Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare installed.
We do not know about you, but all of these options are extremely enticing, especially the last one. Of course at the end of the day, what matters most is what fans think of this potential change.
Shockingly, most if not all fans seem to rejoice at the potential development. Some fans stated that now they will finally be able to uninstall the game and save up precious space.
Moreover, many fans were quick to point out that it was extremely unfair of Activision to force players to previously download Warzone to enjoy multiplayer.
However, due to the separate Warzone 2.0 application rumor, there has been a lot of uncertainty in the community.
One common question that a lot of fans is that will their purchases and unlocks transfer over. As of now, we can not answer the question, since there have been zero transfer announcements.
What’s your opinion on this? Are you excited about the potential change?
