Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is one of the most anticipated RPGs launching this year. Developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, the game is a dark fantasy spin on the three kingdoms. It is based on a 14th-century historical novel and will be a day-one launch on the Xbox Game Pass.

You can already download the game on your Xbox console as the pre-load is available on the platform. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has a size of 44.61GB, which is pretty fair for a game of its size. All you need to do is go to the Xbox Game Pass tab on your Xbox and download the game before it comes out.

Out of all the franchises that have influenced gaming, Dark Souls has probably had the most effect. We have seen countless games in the past decade or so that resemble the Soulsborne franchise in style. FromSoftware has further popularised this form of role-playing titles with Elden Ring and Sekiro.

Among the numerous games showing clear Soulsborne influences, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is also one. The action RPG from Team Ninja had its official reveal at the Xbox Bethesda Games Showcase back in 2022. Since then, the hype for the game taking place in ancient China has been through the roof.

Nioh Director Fumihiko Yasuda is producing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. One of the producers of Bloodborne is also involved in this project. Hence, you can understand why fans are so excited about the upcoming RPG from Koei Tecmo.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has a pre-load size of 44GB on all Xbox consoles. To be precise, it is 44.61GB which is not much lower than 2022’s Elden Ring. FromSoftware’s RPG has a pre-load size of 49GB, only 5GB more than Team Ninja’s new IP.

However, considering how it will take up to 40 hours to beat Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, this is a fair download size. We don’t know how much this will be on other platforms. But, whatever it is, players might want to strap in for the ride as it will take a long time to complete.

Players don’t have to wait a long time to play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty as it launches on March 3, 2023. The RPG will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Do you think the game will be worth playing? Tell us in the comments below.
