League Of Legends Patch 26.02 Preview Now Out

You must be living under a rock if you’re a fan of MOBAs and you’re not aware of what League of Legends has cooking behind closed curtains. With new content additions, improved updates, and other LoL patch notes, the experience remains fresh, while a million others stay hooked to the insanely addictive gameplay of the MOBA. 

Riot Games, the developer of the title, issued an official post last month, detailing users with what updates they could expect over the new year, which we’re now in. Not a lot was shared before, but thanks to RiotPhreak on X, who took to sharing crucial details with us about Patch 26.02, we now know what to expect as we march forward. 

Patch 26.02 Brings Nerfs Galore

Right off the bat, it seems that a myriad of high-power League of Legends characters have been hit with the nerf axe, and as per popular belief, this was the right decision to take. The Champions Gwen, Jayce, Lilia, Malphite, Nunu & Willump, Sivir, Smolder, and Zed have been affected. However, do note that Riot has planned at least 25 more patches after 26.02, so you never know what to expect in the next session around.

League of Legends came out on October 27, 2009 initially, but has since transformed into a full-fledged title. eXputer reviewed the MOBA, rating it 3.5/5.0, and calling it the “center of attraction for professional gaming.”
