Batman: Arkham Collection Goes A Whopping 90% Off On The PS Store

Now, this is a steal right here.

Story Highlights

  • Batman: Arkham Collection comprises three of the best superhero games in the business.
  • Despite rolling out more than a decade ago, the Batman titles are still extremely relevant to this day.
  • PlayStation users can grab the collection for as low as $6 at the moment.

I will never not recommend the icon that the Batman: Arkham Collection is. Despite getting left in the dust since a long time, it amazes me how the mainline Batman titles still hold their own against multiple AAA releases in the day and age we live in today. I assume that’s what happens when you pour passion into your work for the world to enjoy.

Now, if you’ve somehow skipped out on experiencing what is otherwise the best superhero video game franchise in my humble opinion, now would be nothing short of a golden chance for PlayStation users. Heading over to the official PS Store, I discovered that Batman: Arkham Collection — as part of the platform’s November Sale — is on sale for merely $6.

cannot stress just how much value is up for grabs here. Anything less than $10 for titles of this stature is more than your money’s worth—take it from someone who’s sunk more than 100 hundred hours into the Arkham Collection

Warner Bros. Games — the owner of the Batman: Arkham IP — previously stated that it wishes to convert its biggest franchises into the live service format. Those prospects, however, haven’t turned out well so far, with Suicide Squad, its latest live service shooter, ending up in a $200 million loss for the company.

Now, WB has seemingly reversed course. The CEO of WB Discovery, David Zaslav, has let out an interesting statement in a recent investors call, confirming that the company will now focus on core franchises only instead of “trying to launch 10, 12, 15, 20 different games.”

We have four strong and profitable game franchises with loyal, global fans: Hogwarts Legacy, Mortal Kombat, Game of Thrones, and DC, in particular Batman. We are focusing our development efforts on those core franchises, with proven studios to improve our success ratio.”
